The Guardian (Charlottetown) - - THE ISLAND -

The need for an off-leash area for dogs in downtown Charlottetown is being discussed.

One currently exists at the P.E.I. Humane Society on the Sherwood Road but Nancy McMinn, park superintendent for the city, notes that people aren’t able to get their dogs to the humane society without a car. Still, she said dog owners need a place to exercise their dogs in the downtown area, especially as the city becomes more urban.
