Euthana­sia drugs stolen from SPCA

FREDERICTON — The RCMP in north­east­ern New Brunswick have is­sued a pub­lic warn­ing af­ter a deadly drug was stolen from the SPCA in Dal­housie.

Po­lice say that some­time on Sun­day night or early Mon­day morn­ing, one or more peo­ple broke in to the SPCA and stole two safes. They say one of the safes con­tained an undis­closed amount of cash and the sec­ond con­tained drugs used to eu­th­a­nize an­i­mals.

One of the drugs is T-61, which is an ex­tremely lethal drug that is for vet­eri­nary use only.
