New roundabout causes confusion

The Guardian (Charlottetown) - - EDITORIAL -

I saw in the news about the ICS truck going on its side at the roundabout on Popular Island. At this roundabout I almost got rear-ended by an ICS dump truck which was travelling too fast. I stopped at the red yield sign to let a motorist out of Cows because he was waiting there before I got to the circle.

Someone will get seriously hurt. Traffic is travelling too fast through the circles.

If Highway Safety were present at the new roundabout by Red Rock Harley Davidson dealership, they would be handling out a lot of tickets to drivers who blow by these stop signs.

I know this roundabout is very confusing, a red yield sign does mean to stop if there are other vehicles around. I hope in the near future Highway Safety or RCMP will be present at this and other roundabouts to monitor the traffic flow.
