The Fu­neral Ser­vice for Vic­tor J. Baldwin was held on Fri­day, July 7, 2017, from Fer­gu­son Lo­gan Mon­tague Fu­neral Home to St. Cuth­bert’s Church, St. Teresa’s. The Fu­neral Mass was cel­e­brated by Fr. Au­gus­tine Ig­nasimuthu. The Pall was placed on the cas­ket by Vic­tor’s wife Ann Baldwin and daugh­ters Ann Marie Baldwin, Su­san Baldwin and Dar­lene Martin. The Read­ings were pro­claimed by Ed­die Cur­ran and Cathy My­ers. Prayers of In­ter­ces­sions were of­fered by Mary Ni­chol­son. The or­gan­ist was Michelle Mac­Don­ald. The Fu­neral Mass was sung by St. Cuth­bert’s Church Choir. The En­trance Hymn was “Come To The Wa­ter”, Psalm 25 “To You Oh Lord I Lift My Soul”, the Of­fer­tory Hymn “Healer Of Our Ev­ery I ll”, Com­mu­nion Hymn “One Love Re­leased”, Song Of Farewell “Songs Of The An­gels”, and the Re­ces­sional Hymn was the “City Of God”. The Al­tar Servers were Al Green, Elva My­ers, Josephine Roger­son and Leonard Roger­son. The Pall­bear­ers were Mike Bai­ley, Al­lan Smith, Ian Mac­Don­ald, Earl Rana­han, Paul Mac­Don­ald and Gary Bradley. The Hon­orary Pall­bear­ers were Shane Docherty, Trevor Martin, Scott Cur­ran, Ed­die Cur­ran, Ge­orge Cof­fin, Bill Cof­fin, Parker Mac­Don­ald, Jackie Lawlor, Val Bradley, David Trainor, Jay Kenny, Am­brose Lay­bolt, John Ste­wart, Barry Gil­lan, Ivan Walsh and Percy Cur­ran. Flower Bear­ers were Gabriel Martin, Chael Martin, Ty Clark, Rose Marie Clark, Dav­ina Baldwin, Riel Docherty and Elin Baldwin. Eucharis­tic Min­is­ters were Al Green and Elva My­ers. Among those at­tend­ing the Fu­neral Ser­vice were Hon. Pat Binns; mem­bers of the Pro­gres­sive Con­ser­va­tive Party; mem­bers of the St. Cuth­bert’s C.W.L.; mem­bers from Per­fec­tion Foods and mem­bers from McKenna Brothers. Dur­ing the re­cep­tion Cai­lyn Ma­cAulay played the Fid­dle. In­ter­ment took place in St. Cuth­bert’s Parish Ceme­tery, St. Teresa’s.
