Some cash for nec­es­sary equip­ment

The city is spend­ing $32,741 to pur­chase some emer­gency warn­ing equip­ment for its fire trucks.

The ex­pen­di­ture is part of process that saw the city in­clude $165,000 in this year’s cap­i­tal bud­get to re­plac­ing three ag­ing emer­gency sup­port ve­hi­cles. It might also in­volve trans­fer­ring equip­ment from one ve­hi­cle to an­other.

The ten­der for the $32,741 went to G. LeBlanc Fire Truck Re­pair Ltd.
