Madsen sentenced

SUMMERSIDE — Jared James Madsen, 23, of Summerside pleaded guilty to two counts of breaching an undertaking and one count of assault. The charges against Madsen are from incidents that occurred sometime between Feb. 2 and 6, in Alberton and Feb. 26 in Charlottetown. Madsen was sentenced to serve 20 days in jail, which he received permission to do intermittently. He must also serve 18 months of probation and pay $300 in victim surcharges.
