Tip Er Back is back with an­other ceilidh

With sum­mer well un­der­way, Tip Er Back will be host­ing its sec­ond ceilidh of the sea­son on July 16 at Afton Com­mu­nity Cen­tre in New Do­min­ion and will fea­ture Eddy Quinn as this week’s spe­cial guest. From left are Al­lan Betts, Eddy Quinn, Dar­lene Bradley, Wade Mur­ray and Clive Cur­rie. Quinn, an ECMA nom­i­nee, is known as a pop­u­lar en­ter­tainer and sto­ry­teller. He is also the front­man for the award-win­ning Is­land group Fid­dlers’ Sons who just re­leased a new al­bum of their most pop­u­lar songs. In ad­di­tion, Quinn has writ­ten a book about Is­land char­ac­ters. Also re­turn­ing to the stage will be guest, singer/song­writer Dar­lene Bradley. Afton Com­mu­nity Cen­tre is an air-con­di­tioned hall lo­cated on Route 19 in New Do­min­ion. The show starts at 7:30 p.m., and there will be a 50/50 draw and a com­pli­men­tary lunch pro­vided. Ad­mis­sion is at the door and every­one is wel­come.
