The death oc­curred peace­fully at his home in Dover on July 14, 2017 of Clin­ton Ch­ester Young. Age 70. Lov­ingly re­mem­bered by wife, Jane (nee Sil­ver); sis­ters Wilma (Neil) MacKin­non, Ver­lie Young and Delite (Glen) Richards. Sur­vived by broth­erin-law, Ray Sil­ver and sis­terin-law, Julie (Ron) Mant­ley. Re­mem­bered by nieces and neph­ews Kim­berly (Dave) Ste­wart, Brian MacKin­non, Brad (Rechelle) Richards, Paige (Tim) Mac­Dougall, Ben Sil­ver, Amy Sil­ver, James Mant­ley and grand-nieces and neph­ews Tay­lor, Cas­sidy, Isla, Luca and Abi­gail. Pre­de­ceased by par­ents Frank & Doris (MacEach­ern) Young and mother and fa­therin-law Roy & Ma­bel Sil­ver. Clin­ton was a mem­ber of PEI Lo­cal 1338 Car­pen­ter’s Union for 30+ years. He was also a vol­un­teer mem­ber of the Mur­ray River Fire Depart­ment for 20+ years and a faith­ful mem­ber of Memo­rial United Church. Rest­ing at South­ern Kings & Queens Fu­neral Home, Mur­ray River for visi­ta­tion on Sun­day, July 16 from 4-8 p.m. Fu­neral ser­vice from Memo­rial United Church, Mur­ray River on Mon­day, July 17 at 2:30 p.m. In­ter­ment in the Lit­tle Sands Ceme­tery.
