The death occurred peacefully at his home in Dover on July 14, 2017 of Clinton Chester Young. Age 70. Lovingly remembered by wife, Jane (nee Silver); sisters Wilma (Neil) MacKinnon, Verlie Young and Delite (Glen) Richards. Survived by brotherin-law, Ray Silver and sisterin-law, Julie (Ron) Mantley. Remembered by nieces and nephews Kimberly (Dave) Stewart, Brian MacKinnon, Brad (Rechelle) Richards, Paige (Tim) MacDougall, Ben Silver, Amy Silver, James Mantley and grand-nieces and nephews Taylor, Cassidy, Isla, Luca and Abigail. Predecease­d by parents Frank & Doris (MacEachern) Young and mother and fatherin-law Roy & Mabel Silver. Clinton was a member of PEI Local 1338 Carpenter’s Union for 30+ years. He was also a volunteer member of the Murray River Fire Department for 20+ years and a faithful member of Memorial United Church. Resting at Southern Kings & Queens Funeral Home, Murray River for visitation on Sunday, July 16 from 4-8 p.m. Funeral service from Memorial United Church, Murray River on Monday, July 17 at 2:30 p.m. Interment in the Little Sands Cemetery.
