Sun­day Night Shenani­gans, hosted by Judy Ma­cLean at York Com­mu­nity Cen­tre Sun­day at 7 p.m., will fea­ture in­ter­na­tion­ally known record­ing artist Kelley Mooney.

Born in Iona, P.E.I., Mooney has been singing since she was a young girl and has con­tin­ued to per­form both lo­cally and in­ter­na­tion­ally. She is best known for her ren­di­tion of Leonard Co­hen’s spir­i­tual lyri­cal adap­ta­tion of “Hal­lelu­jah”, which has be­come an in­ter­net sen­sa­tion with more than 13 mil­l­lion hits on Youtube and God­tube.

Mooney re­leased an award­win­ning CD in 2011, which gar­nered her the 2012 Mu­sic P.E.I. record­ing of the year. Later, she re­leased an al­bum that gained her an ECMA nom­i­na­tion for “Still.” She con­tin­ues to per­form as lead singer for her band called Water­town.

Also on the bill is Is­land vo­cal­ist Olivia Barnes, who stud­ies voice at Univer­sity of Mon­treal and will be joined on­stage by her fa­ther, Tom Barnes. For fid­dle fans, Buddy Lon­gaphee will per­form some lively jigs, and reels ac­com­pa­nied by Dun­can Mathe­son on key­boards. They will pro­vide some lively tunes for The Judy Ma­cLean Dancers. The evening in­cludes a 50/50 draw, Ve­sey’s Seeds prize, light lunch.
