Tribute to Lady Singers continues tonight
Fans of the tribute to the “Lady Singers of our Century” concert, featuring songs by Loretta Lynn, EmmyLou Harris, Rita MacNeil, Patsy Cline, Linda Ronstadt, Tanya Tucker and The MacGuire Sisters, will have two more chances to see the popular show this month.
A show is set for Monday, July 17, at Central Queens United Church with the final performance of the month on Monday, July 31, at Summerside Presbyterian Church.
Hosts for all three concerts are Judy McGregor and Joan Reeves, also known as Ding and Dong. Joining them will be singer-songwriter Jolee Patkai, gospel singer Keila Glydon and Georgetown native and Rita MacNeil tribute performer Colleen MacPhee.
McGregor and Reeves will pay tribute to Tanya Tucker and The MacGurie Sisters.
All three shows start at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available at the door.
