Driver with three times blood alcohol weaves past RCMP
A 66-year-old man from Kings County is scheduled to appear in Georgetown Court in August on charges of drunk driving.
Kings District RCMP was patrolling the Fortune Bridge area on Monday, July 17, around mid-afternoon, when an officer saw a vehicle driving irregularly. The officer stopped the car and found that the male driver was drunk.
The driver was taken to the Montague RCMP office for breath testing. Readings were over three times the legal limit of blood alcohol, alleges a police report.
