Peace­fully, with fam­ily by her side, the pass­ing of Bertha Maud Crane, age 98, de­voted wife of the late Robert (Lee) Crane Sr., oc­curred on Fri­day, July 14, 2017, at the Nak­ile Home for Spe­cial Care, in Glen­wood, N.S. Born in Al­bion, P.E., on April 12, 1919, she was the daugh­ter of the late Wil­liam D. and Essie M. (Creed) Llewellyn. Bertha is sur­vived by her chil­dren Joyce Crane, Joan McCreight, Robert (Ruth) Crane, Dorothy (Clif­ford) Vail, Shirley MacDon­ald and Kenny (Donna) Crane; nine grand­chil­dren, seven great-grand­chil­dren, nu­mer­ous nieces and neph­ews. Pre­de­ceased by sis­ters Areta Jenk­ins, Lois Crane; brother Lloyd Llewellyn; son­sin-law Mor­ris McCreight and Gor­don MacDon­ald. Rest­ing at Fer­gu­son Lo­gan Mon­tague Fu­neral Home with vis­it­ing on Fri­day, July 21, 2017 from 6 to 9 p.m. Fu­neral Ser­vice to be held on Satur­day, July 22 at 10 a.m., from the Fu­neral Home Chapel. In­ter­ment to take place in the Christ Church Cherry Val­ley Ceme­tery. Do­na­tions to the Nak­ile Home for Spe­cial Care, Glen­wood, N.S., or the Christ Church Cherry Val­ley Ceme­tery would be ap­pre­ci­ated.
