Hensman joins Phase II
Talented musicians will be guests on stage
A well-travelled and talented musician by the name of Mike Hensman will be taking the stage as this week’s special guest of Phase II and Friends at the weekly Pub Night at the North Rustico Lions’ Hall tonight beginning at 8 p.m.
Born in Toronto, Mike married an Island girl and since 2002 has been a permanent resident of P.E.I. The members of Phase II and friends, which include Blaine Murphy, John McGarry, Ed Young, Pat King, Keila Glydon, Jeanie Campbell and Gerry Hickey look forward to meeting and hearing their guest perform.
“This will be Mike’s first time on our stage but he is known to be a very experienced and talented performer. He has literally played from coast to coast across Canada and has even ventured as far as Nashville. Mike’s set will include great tunes by Van Morrison, Garth Brooks, Jimmy Buffet and Elvis, along with several others, said Hickey.”
Phase II known for its diversity, so Hensman sounds like a perfect fit.
Pub Night happens every Thursday from 8-11 p.m. The hall features air-conditioned comfort as well as a fully stocked bar and canteen.
The night features everything from Elvis and Chubby Checker to Garth Brooks and Abba. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.
