Lester MacPher­son and Jean­nie Cameron head­lin­ers

The York Com­mu­nity Cen­tre will be rock­ing on Sun­day night when Lester MacPher­son and Jean­nie Cameron take the stage.

Host Judy MacLean will host the Sun­day Night Shenani­gans event that be­gins at 7 p.m.

Also on the bill is singer/co­me­dian Em­mett DeCoursey.

MacPher­son per­forms reg­u­larly at dances, ben­e­fits and ceilidhs and has nine CDs to his credit, the most re­cent be­ing “Don’t Stop the Mu­sic’’.

Cameron hails from Lot 16 and has been fea­tured as the open­ing act for such groups as the Good Broth­ers and many others. She has con­tin­ued per­form­ing lo­cally with her backup gui­tarist, Roy Arse­nault.

Cameron also pro­duced a CD called “Black Cof­fee’’.

The evening in­cludes a 50/50 draw and a light lunch.

Tick­ets are at the door. Doors open at 6 p.m. with the show get­ting un­der­way at 7 p.m.

The York Com­mu­nity Cen­tre is lo­cated on Route 25, York Road. It is air con­di­tioned and wheel­chair ac­ces­si­ble.
