Fid­dlers’ Sons go on stage in Rus­tico

Eddy Quinn, John B. Web­ster and Keelin Wedge of the award-win­ning Is­land band Fid­dlers’ Sons will play at The Cym­bria Lions Club on Sun­day at 7:30 p.m. as part of the Lions weekly sum­mer ceilidh se­ries. They will be fea­tur­ing mu­sic from the band’s most re­cent re­lease called “Fid­dlers’ Sons: The Best Of Twenty Years”, as well as se­lec­tions from Wedge’s new in­stru­men­tal al­bum, “The Tra­di­tional Files”. “Of all the places we play, I would have to say that Cym­bria has the most beau­ti­ful view.” says Quinn. The Cym­bria Lions Club Com­mu­nity Cen­tre is lo­cated in Rus­tico on six acres over­look­ing Rus­tico Bay and is si­t­u­ated next to the his­toric St. Au­gus­tine’s Church, Farmer’s Bank of Rus­tico, Doucette House and the Bara­chois Inn. There will be a 50/50 draw, can­teen ser­vice and CDs and books avail­able for sale. Ad­mis­sion is at the door and all ages are wel­come.
