Tignish man jailed for impaired driving
SUMMERSIDE - Edward Joseph Perry, 40, of Tignish, pleaded guilty to driving with a blood alcohol level above the legal limit. The charge against Perry is from May 1 in St. Louis. Perry was sentenced to serve 60 days in jail, which he received permission to do intermittently. He must remain on probation until his time is served. He is also prohibited from driving for 24 months and must pay a fine of $1,500 and $450 in victim surcharges.
