The death oc­curred peace­fully at the At­lantic Bap­tist Nurs­ing Home on July 23, 2017 of Ethel Pearl Bryenton, age 98 years. Beloved wife of the late Ivan Bryenton. Born in Brack­ley, P.E.I. on July 25, 1918, she was the daugh­ter of the late Regi­nald and Bessie (Rodd) Bryenton. Ethel is sur­vived by her chil­dren Robert (Florence) Bryenton, Betty (David) Reed and Lloyd (Mar­lene) Bryenton; grand­chil­dren Ge­off Bryenton, Jennifer Bryenton, Kim Col­well, Julie (Jeff) LeDrew, Amanda (Greg) Gar­ner and An­drew (El­lie) Bryenton; seven great-grand­chil­dren and nu­mer­ous nieces and neph­ews. She was pre­de­ceased by brother Al­li­son (Rena) Bryenton, sis­ters Hazel (Her­man) Mosher and Doris (Keith) Cud­more. Rest­ing at Ma­cLean Fu­neral Home Swan Chapel with vis­it­ing hours on Thurs­day from 3 – 6 p.m. Fu­neral ser­vice to be held on Fri­day at 10:30 a.m. from Winsloe United Church. In­ter­ment in Flo­ral Hills Me­mo­rial Gar­dens. In lieu of flow­ers, me­mo­rial do­na­tions may be made to the Winsloe United Church Build­ing Fund or the PEI Lung As­so­ci­a­tion.
