DEATH IN ALBERTA
Tyler Wallace MacDonald, 33, dies in a construction accident Monday in Calgary
A P.E.I. construction worker who died as the result of a workplace accident this week is being remembered by family and friends as a “compassionate” and “kindhearted” man who was always in good spirits.
Tyler Wallace MacDonald, 33, who was originally of Georgetown P.E.I., has been confirmed as the construction worker who died after falling from a condominium on Monday.
A family member shared some of the messages received from those who knew MacDonald.
They described a young man who was a hard worker with an optimistic spirit and a love of hockey.
“You are the guy that never wanted to shine over others, but you brought comfort, and happiness to everyone,” read one of the messages.
MacDonald fell from a fourstorey condo building that was under construction in a southeast Calgary neighbourhood.
The incident is being investigated by Occupational Health and Safety.
MacDonald’s funeral arrangements are being handled by Ferguson-Logan Montague Funeral Home.
“Tyler will be greatly missed by his family, friends, co workers and all who came to know and love him,” stated MacDonald’s obituary.
