A classless act

The Guardian (Charlottetown) - - EDITORIAL -

Re: “Time for togetherness,” The Guardian, July 19: Leo Deveau is way off base with his unkind words about Mi’kmaq Keptin John Joe Sark. He returned his Order of P.E.I. on a matter of principle — a sure sign of personal integrity.

In my conversations with him, I have always found him to be a decent, gentle and principled person.

Mr. Deveau, to make up for his classless act, should apologize to John Joe for his rude and insensitive character assassination of a Mi’kmaq Elder.
