A royal win
The Winsloe/Charlottetown Royals shut out the Dartmouth United F.C. 2-0 to win the Under-15 Division of the recent Gunn Baldursson Memorial soccer tournament in Wolfville, N.S. Emma MacIntyre scored two goals in the last five minutes to break a 0-0 tie. Paige Doncaster recorded the shutout. MacIntyre led the team with five goals overall, while Miara Weeks added three markers in the round robin and Ria Johnston notched a key goal in the final round robin game. Mid-fielders Julia Doucette, Anamika Subba and Reese Kelly were strong throughout the tourney and Doncaster kept opponents to just one goal per game in the round robin.
