The fu­neral for Paul Harry Large was held on Tues­day, July 25, 2017 from Belvedere Fu­neral Home to First Bap­tist Church, Char­lot­te­town. Rev. David Dubois con­ducted the ser­vice with or­gan­ist Kather­ine Eye. Mu­sic for the ser­vice was lead by Ir­win Web­ster singing Amaz­ing Grace and The Love of God. Paul’s sis­ter, Lysa Large Miller sang The Cir­cle Game by Joni Mitchell. The con­gre­ga­tional hymn was Higher Ground. Paul’s mother, Mar­garet Col­li­cutt, Howard Dalton, and Al­ban Mo­ran shared words of Re­mem­brance. The Scrip­ture read­ing, Psalm 23 was read by nephew, Zach Mo­ran. Hon­orary pall­bear­ers were Ray and Joy Han­ley and Emily Wells. Pall­bear­ers were Al­ban Mo­ran, Zach Mo­ran, Wil­lard Day, Robert Rayner, John Mac­Beth and Don­nie Large. Flower­bear­ers were Julie Mac­Don­ald, Emily Wells, Rose­mary Harpell and Joy Han­ley. The pro­ces­sional played was Be­cause He Lives and the re­ces­sional was I Know Who Holds To­mor­row. In­ter­ment took place in Sherwood Ceme­tery af­ter the ser­vice and re­fresh­ments. In at­ten­dance were the Tues­day Morn­ing Prayer Group from Cal­vary Church and the PEI Hos­pi­tal School of Nurs­ing 1960.
