It will be a grand old time

The Ceilidh at the Ir­ish Hall wel­comes Is­land son, Michael Pen­der­gast, and his group The Pendy’s to the stage tonight at 8 p.m. The mu­si­cians are Michael Pen­der­gast on ac­cor­dion, ac­com­pa­nied on vo­cals by his son, Shane and his un­cle, Tom McSwig­gan, orig­i­nally from County Ty­rone, Ire­land. The fea­tured fid­dler is brother-in-law, Andy Doucette, so mak­ing it a real fam­ily af­fair. The night will in­clude a med­ley of tra­di­tional Ir­ish and Mar­itime mu­sic and as al­ways with a few funny sto­ries thrown into the mix. There will be a 50/50 draw and a light lunch is served dur­ing the in­ter­mis­sion.
