Ceilidh fea­tures Tip Er Back

Tip Er Back is host­ing its third ceilidh of the sea­son at Afton Com­mu­nity Cen­tre Sun­day, July 30.

The ceilidh runs 7:30-9:30 p.m. with a lunch pro­vided at in­ter­mis­sion.

Ad­mis­sion is at the door. Afton Com­mu­nity Cen­tre is an air con­di­tioned hall lo­cated on Route 19 in New Do­min­ion.

Tip Er Back fea­tures three mem­bers of the for­mer Kickin Coun­try band – Al­lan Betts, Clive Cur­rie and Wade Mur­ray. They have been per­form­ing to­gether since 1984 pleas­ing many is­land au­di­ences. This is their third ceilidh sea­son at Afton Hall.

Dar­lene Bradley, who re­turns to the stage with Tip Er Back, is a proven crowd-pleaser. She ap­pears reg­u­larly with Tip Er Back dur­ing their ceilidh sea­son.

Also ap­pear­ing at this ceilidh is spe­cial guest Lester MacPher­son. No stranger to the mu­sic scene, MacPher­son’s list of ac­com­plish­ments in mu­sic in­cludes four awards. He has won male artist of the year at the Mu­sic P.E.I. Awards, coun­try male artist of the year in 2002 and the Is­land Wide Tal­ent Com­pe­ti­tion in 1983.
