Car goes up, over median in Charlottetown
A 67-year-old Charlottetown woman was involved in a single vehicle motor vehicle collision Thursday afternoon. Charlottetown Police Services and the Charlottetown Fire Department responded to the 911 call at 2:45 p.m. at the corner of Kensington Road and the arterial highway.
Sgt. Dave Pound, with Charlottetown Police Services, said the woman was travelling north on Kensington Road and, while attempting to merge to travel east on the arterial highway, her vehicle went up over the median. “There was a small rupture in her gas tank, which was immediately attended to by Charlottetown Fire (Department).” There were no injuries as a result of the collision.
At this time, no charges are being contemplated, said Pound.
