HISTORY NOTE

On the right hand side of Stratford Road, just before you come to the Keppoch Road corner, there is a mound that looks like a hill; it is known as “fairy hill”. On bright moonlight nights local residents watched the fairies dance there by the light of the moon. Some have suggested that there is treasure located beneath the mound.
