No headlights lead to arrest
A man allegedly driving drunk, without headlights turned on, was arrested on the weekend. Charlottetown Police Services was conducting routine patrols early Saturday at 2:34 a.m. on Prince Street, when officers saw the vehicle without headlights.
After being stopped, officers said the driver appeared to be impaired. The accused man, a 28-year-old resident of Charlottetown, was arrested. He will be appearing in provincial court at a later date.
