Sentencing adjourned in armed robbery case
A P.E.I. woman who used a box cutter to rob a Charlottetown convenience store will be back in court in November for sentencing.
Taylor McGuigan made a brief appearance before Judge John Douglas in provincial court where her lawyer provided an update on McGuigan’s progress with drug addiction treatment.
Defence lawyer Thane MacEachern said McGuigan had been doing well, including attending counselling meetings. Douglas adjourned the matter until Nov. 6.
