Sen­tenc­ing ad­journed in armed rob­bery case

A P.E.I. woman who used a box cut­ter to rob a Char­lot­te­town con­ve­nience store will be back in court in Novem­ber for sen­tenc­ing.

Tay­lor McGuigan made a brief ap­pear­ance be­fore Judge John Dou­glas in pro­vin­cial court where her lawyer pro­vided an up­date on McGuigan’s progress with drug ad­dic­tion treat­ment.

De­fence lawyer Thane MacEach­ern said McGuigan had been do­ing well, in­clud­ing at­tend­ing coun­selling meet­ings. Dou­glas ad­journed the mat­ter un­til Nov. 6.
