Winsloe beats Summerside in un­der-15 girls soc­cer

The Winsloe Char­lot­te­town Roy­als downed the Summerside United un­der-15 pre­mier girls 6-5 on Sun­day in Sub­way soc­cer ac­tion in Summerside.

The match went back in fourth as both teams ex­changed goals as WCRFC score two early goals at the four-minute mark by Grace kil­lorn and at the five-minute mark by Emma MacIn­tyre who scored four on the night. Summerside re­sponded back scor­ing two by Hi­larie Gaudet (16th minute) and Ash­lyn Prid­ham (18th minute).

Be­fore the first half fin­ished, a to­tal of three more goals ex­changed hands where Lau­ren Misener (34th minute) Emma MacIn­tyre (36th minute) scored for WCRFC and Summerside an­swered off the foot of Gaudet, with her sec­ond of the night end­ing the half at a score of 5-3 for WCRFC.

In the sec­ond half, Summerside re­sponded back scor­ing two goals, at the 46th minute by Elly Dob­son and Ash­lyn Prid­ham’s sec­ond of the night (51st minute) un­til Emma MacIn­tyre closed the con­test, scor­ing at the 70th minute so­lid­i­fy­ing a 6-5 vic­tory. Keeper An­imika Subba earned the win. Kyrsten Coyle took the loss. re­sults from March 1 to May 31. Brady, who won his record fifth Su­per Bowl in Fe­bru­ary, was joined at the top of the list by Dal­las Cow­boys team­mates run­ning back Ezekiel El­liott (No. 2) and quar­ter­back Dak Prescott (No. 3). Two more Cow­boys were also in the top 10 in wide re­ceiver Dez Bryant (No. 6) and tight end Ja­son Wit­ten (No. 10).

Raiders run­ning back Mar­shawn Lynch, who re­turned to the league after a one-year ab­sence, was at No. 4 and Sea­hawks quar­ter­back Rus­sell Wil­son rounded out the top five. The rest of the top 10 in­cluded Pack­ers quar­ter­back Aaron Rodgers (No. 7), Gi­ants wide re­ceiver Odell Beck­ham Jr. (No. 8), and Steel­ers wide re­ceiver An­to­nio Brown (No. 9), who cracked the top 10 for the first time.
