The death oc­curred at Queen El­iz­a­beth Hos­pi­tal on Satur­day July 29, 2017 of Shirley Ruth MacDougall (nee Miller) of Winsloe South, age 79 years. Beloved wife of the late Rev. Nor­man MacDougall. Lov­ing mother of Ruth MacDougall, Janet MacDougall and Paul (Lau­ren) MacDougall. Nanny of Kate and Rachel Turner. Sis­ter of Is­abel Fletcher, Springhill, N.S. Sis­ter-in-law of Gor­don MacDougall, Dieppe, N.B. Proud aunt to many nieces and neph­ews. Shirley was pre­de­ceased by her par­ents Earl and Jean (Coates) Miller of Springhill, N.S.; brother-in­law Doug Fletcher of Springhill, N.S.; sis­ters-in-law Louise MacDougall, MaryBelle (Bob) Goodwin, Betty MacDougall and brothers-in-laws, Doug Fletcher, Ge­orge (Eleanore) and Neil Don­ald (in in­fancy); and son-in-law Alan Turner of Winsloe South, P.E.I. Rest­ing at Ma­cLean Fu­neral Home Swan Chapel. Fu­neral Thurs­day from Trin­ity United Church at 10 a.m. In­ter­ment in Sher­wood Ceme­tery.
