Sun­wing will again fly di­rect from Charlottetown to Puerto Plata

Sun­wing is re­turn­ing to Charlottetown this win­ter for a ninth con­sec­u­tive sea­son.

Be­gin­ning Feb. 12, 2018, and run­ning weekly un­til May 14, 2018, Sun­wing will have Mon­day depar­tures di­rect from Charlottetown to the Do­mini­can Repub­lic va­ca­tion des­ti­na­tion of Puerto Plata.

An­drew Daw­son, pres­i­dent of Tour Op­er­a­tions, wel­comed the news.

“Sun­wing has been fly­ing to sun des­ti­na­tions from P.E.I. since 2009, and we are pleased to be of­fer­ing va­ca­tion pack­ages to Puerto Plata this win­ter,” he said.

Doug New­son, CEO of Charlottetown Air­port Author­ity, says de­mand is strong for allinclu­sive va­ca­tions.
