Shooting the lights out

Jian Wu of Stratford, left, and Ian Hogg of Tea Hill work on their shots at the recent 145th annual prize meet of the Prince Edward Island Provincial Rifle Association in Alexandria. Wu won the Vessey Seeds Trophy and a Governor General’s bronze medal for marksmanship, while Hogg earned a Governor General’s silver medal. Hogg and Gordon Holloway of New Brunswick were each the top shots in the F class and target rifle categories and shared the Grand Aggregate Trophy. Twenty four shooters from the Atlantic provinces and Iles de la Madeleine competed at the event.
