Fire in Corn­wall de­stroys house, dis­plac­ing fam­ily of seven

A fire along the Corn­wall Road last night about 10 p.m. has de­stroyed a fam­ily home.

The bun­ga­low is lo­cated two houses north of the Corn­wall Civic Cen­tre, Corn­wall Curl­ing Club com­plex.

The Cana­dian Red Cross is help­ing with emer­gency lodg­ing for a fam­ily of seven, a hus­band and wife with their five chil­dren rang­ing in age from 4 to early 20s. The Red Cross is also pro­vid­ing food, cloth­ing.

No one was hurt dur­ing the fire.
