Three men wait in jail, charged in re­la­tion to home in­va­sion us­ing bat

Three men and a woman were in court Wed­nes­day as sus­pects in a home in­va­sion al­leged to have hap­pened in Bor­den-Car­leton on the week­end.

Tyler Jay, Harrison Snow, Josh Jenk­ins and Jac­qulyn Richard all made their first court ap­pear­ance in Sum­mer­side.

The three men were or­dered to stay in jail un­til their next court ap­pear­ance for a plea, sched­uled for Aug. 16.

Richard was re­leased on con­di­tion of no con­tact with her coac­cused, plus an order to have no con­tact with wit­nesses. She is sched­uled to make a court ap­pear­ance on Aug. 17, also to en­ter her plea.

The al­leged crimes in ques­tion be­gan Saturday at 1:30 p.m., when a man and woman were re­ported to have en­tered a res­i­dence in Strat­ford and robbed a man of cash.

Later the same day, at around 11 p.m., two men and a woman are al­leged to have en­tered a res­i­dence in Bor­den-Car­leton and as­saulted sev­eral peo­ple. At least two of the vic­tims say they were struck with a base­ball bat.

The in­ves­ti­ga­tion team is ask­ing for tips from any­one that knows about th­ese in­stances.
