The hall will be jumpin’
Eddy Quinn, John B. Webster and Keelin Wedge of the awardwinning Island folk music group Fiddlers’ Sons will play the Benevolent Irish Society Hall in Charlottetown tonight at 8 p.m.
The band is celebrating 20 years in the music business and has marked the anniversary with the release of a compilation album of its most requested songs performed by the band members and exploring Island life and Island people.
For 19 of their 20 years together, Fiddlers’ Sons has been playing its brand of grassroots music to packed houses at the Irish Hall.
And Friday should be no exception as the audience can expect to hear a mix of Irish, Scottish, Maritime and original traditional music.
There will be a 50/50 draw during the evening, and a light lunch is served during the intermission.
Doors open at 7 p.m., and the show starts at 8 p.m. Admission is at the door.
