Peace­fully at the Kings County Me­mo­rial Hos­pi­tal with fam­ily by his side, the pass­ing of Charles M. Fraser age 86, de­voted hus­band of the late Ruth D. (John­ston) Fraser oc­curred on Fri­day, Au­gust 4, 2017. Born in Montague on July 28, 1931, he was the son of the late Mil­ton and Sadie (Mac­Beth) Fraser. Charles is sur­vived by his lov­ing chil­dren Scott, Char­lene, Lorne (Har­lene Rob­bins), Danny (Ann), Gary (Su­san) and daugh­ter-in-law Sandy; broth­ers Mil­ton “Buddy”, Ken­neth; sis­ter Peggy; cher­ished grand­chil­dren Deanna, Amy, Tif­fany, Christo­pher, Wade, Shawn, Christina, Jeremy, Colton; adored great grand­chil­dren Alexan­dria, Ben­jamin, Con­nor, Katie, Sarah, Bren­nan, Sawyer, Jes­sica, Paige, Pay­ton, Charlee and Piper; nu­mer­ous cousins, nieces and neph­ews. Charles was Pre­de­ceased by a son Randy. Rest­ing at Fer­gu­son Lo­gan Montague Fu­neral Home with vis­it­ing on Sun­day, Au­gust 6, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Fu­neral Ser­vice to be held on Mon­day, Au­gust 7 at the Fu­neral Home Chapel at 11 a.m. With Rev. Dr. Lon­nie Atkin­son of­fi­ci­at­ing. In­ter­ment to take place in the Com­mu­nity Park Ceme­tery. Do­na­tions to the St. An­drews Lodge 13 Chil­drens Auc­tion or the King County Me­mo­rial Hos­pi­tal would be ap­pre­ci­ated.
