Truck and tractor pulls draw biggest crowd
Local resident Alex MacDonald rides a 1967 Farmall 706, owned by his father Frank MacDonald, in the 12,000-pound stock tractor class during the P.E.I. Truck and Tractor Pull Championships in Crapaud over the weekend. The annual event, which began in the early 1980s, saw what was estimated to be its largest crowd ever on the weekend. This year also saw plenty of pro stock and modified classes, as well as a new 20,000-pound semi truck class.
