Impaired driver caught with no lights on fined
A 24-year-old man who was caught driving impaired with no lights on was recently fined $1,000.
Joshua Michael MacNeil appeared before Judge John Douglas in provincial court in Charlottetown where he pleaded guilty to failing the breathalyzer.
The court heard that on June 4 Charlottetown police saw MacNeil’s vehicle driving with no lights on.
MacNeil later provided breathalyzer samples that were above the legal limit.
Along with the fine, MacNeil must pay a $300 victim surcharge and is banned from driving for one year.
