The Guardian (Charlottetown) - - THE ISLAND -

A 24-year-old man who was caught driving impaired with no lights on was recently fined $1,000.

Joshua Michael MacNeil appeared before Judge John Douglas in provincial court in Charlottetown where he pleaded guilty to failing the breathalyzer.

The court heard that on June 4 Charlottetown police saw MacNeil’s vehicle driving with no lights on.

MacNeil later provided breathalyzer samples that were above the legal limit.

Along with the fine, MacNeil must pay a $300 victim surcharge and is banned from driving for one year.
