Brew­ers walk off North­side for KCBL vic­tory

Nick Ryan hit a walk-off sin­gle in the bot­tom of the sev­enth in­ning as the North­side Gill Con­struc­tion Brew­ers clipped the Cardi­gan Clip­pers 4-3 in Kings County Base­ball League ac­tion on Wed­nes­day.

Ryan also led the Brew­ers at the plate, go­ing 3-for-4 with two RBI while Peter MacLeod went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

The Clip­pers tied the game up in the top of the sev­enth in­ning. Down 3-1, Carter Maclel­lan hit a solo home run and a run scored on an er­ror later in the in­ning to tie the game be­fore Ryan’s hero­ics.

Pierce Cono­han went 2-for-2 to lead the Clip­pers.

Jay­den MacLean pitched the com­plete game win for the Brew­ers while Quinn

Hughes suf­fered the loss in re­lief of Kevin MacLeod.
