Is­lan­der out of Cana­dian am­a­teur golf cham­pi­onship

Brodie Ward of North Mil­ton shot a two-day to­tal of 151 and missed the cut at the 2017 Cana­dian men’s am­a­teur cham­pi­onship in Mis­sis­sauga, Ont.

Ward shot a first-round 73, then tal­lied a sec­ond-round 78. Camilo Aguado of Columbia led af­ter three rounds with a sev­e­nun­der par 203 to­tal. Cana­dian Hugo Bernard was tied with Amer­i­cans Zach Bau­chou and Stratton Nolan for sec­ond place, one stroke be­hind the leader go­ing into Thurs­day’s fi­nal round.
