Mayor host­ing bar­be­cue

An an­nual tra­di­tion is com­ing to Charlottetown Fri­day as Mayor Clif­ford Lee holds his bar­be­cue to kick off Old Home Week.

The bar­be­cue takes place on the cor­ner of Fitzroy and Great Ge­orge Streets out­side the At­lantic Tech­nol­ogy Cen­tre from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Dur­ing the bar­be­cue, Fitzroy Street will be closed to mo­torists from Great Ge­orge Street to the Fitzroy Street parkade.

The bar­be­cue will in­clude free food, en­ter­tain­ment and a small pet­ting zoo for chil­dren.
