Sun­day Night Shenani­gans in York

Two well-known P.E.I. per­form­ers — Lester MacPher­son and Dave Al­tass — head­line Sun­day Night Shenani­gans Aug. 13 at 7 p.m., at the York Com­mu­nity Cen­tre.

A coun­try record­ing artist, MacPher­son is also known as P.E.I.’s coun­try

Hosted by Judy Ma­cLean, the show will also fea­ture other pop­u­lar Is­land per­form­ers, in­clud­ing well-known P.E.I. fid­dler Buddy Lon­ga­phie, who is a long­time mem­ber of the Rollo Bay Fid­dlers. He con­tin­ues to per­form his trade­mark of tra­di­tional tunes across

the Is­land along with Dun­can Mathe­son on key­boards. They will ac­com­pany the Judy Ma­cLean Dancers, fea­tur­ing cham­pion step­per Alice Chev­erie and young step­per Re­gan Her­lihy.

For Elvis fans, Colton Mathe­son will re­turn to Sun­day Night Shenani­gans stage to per­form a cou­ple of fun num­bers, along with singer/co­me­dian Em­mett DeCoursey.
