MacPherson and Altass headline
Sunday Night Shenanigans in York
Two well-known P.E.I. performers — Lester MacPherson and Dave Altass — headline Sunday Night Shenanigans Aug. 13 at 7 p.m., at the York Community Centre.
A country recording artist, MacPherson is also known as P.E.I.’s country

Hosted by Judy MacLean, the show will also feature other popular Island performers, including well-known P.E.I. fiddler Buddy Longaphie, who is a longtime member of the Rollo Bay Fiddlers. He continues to perform his trademark of traditional tunes across
the Island along with Duncan Matheson on keyboards. They will accompany the Judy MacLean Dancers, featuring champion stepper Alice Cheverie and young stepper Regan Herlihy.
For Elvis fans, Colton Matheson will return to Sunday Night Shenanigans stage to perform a couple of fun numbers, along with singer/comedian Emmett DeCoursey.
The night includes a 50/50 draw, Vesey’s door prize and a light lunch. Tickets are at the door starting at 6 p.m. The York Community Centre, which is wheelchair accessible, is on Route 25, York Road. Call 902566-5545 or email judymacleandance@eastlink.ca.
