Man pleads guilty to drug, break and enter charges
A 36-year-old man pleaded guilty to multiple charges including break and enter, possession of instruments suitable for the purpose of breaking and entering and unlawful possession of methamphetamine and oxycodone.
Trevor Joseph Laviolette, a Summerside resident, was charged on Sunday, Aug. 27.
He was sentenced to eight months imprisonment for a break and enter into Canadian Tire storage containers.
He will also serve a four-month concurrent sentence for possessing instruments to break and enter.
He was fined a $400 victim surcharge and has two years to pay.
He was also fined $300 plus $90 on each count of drug possession.
