Oh Susanna and Ben Kunder at Trailside

The Guardian (Charlottetown) - - ENTERTAINMENT -

The Trailside Music Cafe and Inn hosts Oh Susanna & Ben Kunder today in Mount Stewart with a show that gets underway at 8 p.m.

“This will be a very special show,” says owner Meghann Deighan. “These two really put on a good show so don’t miss out.”

The Canadian songstress will perform her superbly crafted songs that often tell stories of troubled souls who rebel against their circumstances to attain a quiet dignity. These are tales of longing and love, of small town joys and pains, of simple feelings and strong passions — tales that look into beautifully flawed human hearts.

Kunder has spent years honing his craft to become a full-time musician. In 2015 he ventured closer to making this a reality with the release of his debut solo LP, “Golden”. Kunder writes songs that everyone can relate to. His powerful voice is a driving force in his music, guiding his songs by creating impressive and tactful melodies and dynamics.

Tickets are at www.trailside. ca, Back Alley music or 902-3943626.

Ontario singer-songwriter Oh Susanna will be returning to the Trailside with Ben Kunder tonight.
