Mur­ray Har­bour ceilidh takes place Fri­day night

Ev­ery­one is in­vited to the Mur­ray Har­bour Com­mu­nity Cen­tre for a night of en­ter­tain­ment on Fri­day, Sept. 1 at 7:30 p.m.

The Friends of the Mur­ray Har­bour Com­mu­nity Cen­ter, along with some won­der­ful mu­si­cal guests, are ready to pro­vide plenty of music and hos­pi­tal­ity. The $5 ad­mis­sion fee also in­cludes a light lunch.

Mel Gid­ding will be bring­ing his unique flavour of music to the stage, as well as Jo-Anne Ford who will per­form with Michael Buell.

Len Buell, Edna MacMaster and Wayne Ma­cLean will com­bine music and hu­mour, mean­ing there will never be a a dull mo­ment when they’re on stage.

Louis MacKay will sing some coun­try songs and gospel hymns, fol­lowed by new­comer Kathy Vanasse, along with Marie Docherty who will per­form with her grand­daugh­ter.

Les­lie Ste­wart will en­ter­tain with a story or two and keep the beat with his drums, Kenny Chap­man will play a tune or two on the fid­dle and ver­sa­tile en­ter­tainer Marie McIn­tyre will per­form.
