Peacefully, surrounded by her family at Beach Grove Home on Friday, November 10, 2017 of Frances J. Hughes (nee Steele) of Charlottetown, age 92 years. Dear wife of the late Joseph Hughes and beloved mother of Joanne (Ernie) Dunsford, Fred-deceased (Nicole Geoffrion), Theresa (Edwin) Callaghan, Allan (Mary Beth MacLean), Robert (Debby) and Richard (Dawn). She is also survived by 15 loving grandchildren Melissa (Ryan) Scully-Allen, Michael (Chelsey) Scully, Kayla Dunsford, Mattieu (Genny Keefe) Hughes, Vincent Hughes, Erin (Greg) Poirier, Jared (Ashley) Callaghan, Laura (Jeff Mitchell) Callaghan, Kristen (Taylor Dunn) Callaghan, Hannah Hughes, Ben Hughes, Corey Weber, Amelia Weber, Jonathan Hughes, Samantha (Derek) Thompson and Nicholas Hughes-deceased; 6 great grandchildren and sister-inlaw Lorna Steele. She was predeceased by her parents Herb and Muriel (nee Doyle) Steele; brothers and sisters, Mary, George, Bert, Philip, Fr. Eddy, Theresa and Garnet. Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home until Wednesday, then transferred to the Church of the Most Holy Redeemer for funeral mass at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
