Tryon man sentenced

Andrew Bain, 54, of Tryon, pleaded guilty to one count of operating a motor vehicle while also having a blood alcohol level above the legal limit.

The charge is from Dec. 7, 2017, in Tryon.

Bain was sentenced to serve seven days in custody, pay a $1,300 fine and a $390 victim surcharge.

He is also prohibited from driving for 12 months.
