Man pleads guilty to common assault of his daughter
A 61-year-old man pleaded guilty to punching his daughter in the face.
Winston Sentner admitted to twice punching his daughter in the eye on April 18, which caused her to fall to the ground.
The woman suffered bruising to her face, the court heard Monday.
Sentner, who has no prior record, will be sentenced June 13 on the common assault conviction.
He will also be sentenced on that date for an unrelated incident in which he pleaded guilty to dumping sewage on a farmer’s field in Wheatley River.
The affected farmer can no longer use the affected field to produce root crops for human consumption, court heard in March.
