Wind whips ambulance off the road
The fierce winds ripping along the Wreckhouse area of the TransCanada Highway early Wednesday, March 16 knocked an ambulance off the road.
The ambulance was not transporting a patient at the time and there are no reports of injury according to the RCMP in Port aux Basques.
Mackenzie Ambulance services declined to comment on the incident.
The 153 kilometre per hour winds also leveled a house in the Cape Anguille area of the Codroy Valley.
