Both sets were a battle, but the girls wanted to win and defeated Leo Burke 25-18 and 25-22.

Into the quarterfinal St. James had their hands full going against King Academy from Harbour Breton. In the first set they were down 19-13 and came back to win 25-23. The next set was the same and Port aux Basques pulled off a 25- 20 victory.

In the semifinal St. James was up against Jane Collins Academy from Hare Bay. In the first set St. James was ahead and never looked back from a 25-16 win; but the girls made lots of errors and were hammered 25-11.
