Chamber recognizes business achievement
Small Business Week was held Oct. 14-19.
The week consisted of breakfast and lunch sessions, a few open houses, barbeque and a coffee break winner each day.
The Port aux Basques and Area Chamber of Commerce held the Gala Award Dinner on Oct. 24.
There were five awards presented this year:
Not for Profit Organization Award – Growing our Futures Childcare Co-op
0-3 Years Business Achievement Award – Marine Excursions Inc.
3-5 Years Business Achievement Award – M & D Bargain Center
5-15 Years Business Achievement Award – Ada Short’s Payroll Services
15+ Lifetime Achievement Award – Humber Motors Ford
